About Us

Books and More Bookstore is a small used bookstore in Brownsville California. We are located in the High

Sierras of Northern Ca. about 90 minutes northeast of Sacramento. The bookstore began in 2007 when Bud

and Yvonne decided to spend the rest of their retirement running a bookstore. They had spent their entire

adult lives working in this small rural community, so it seemed ideal that they spend their remaining years

here, sharing books and the love of reading with friends, relatives and neighbors.
